Holiday Party
New Bedford Star Kids kicks off every holiday season with a special celebration held at a variety of venues. In the past, New Bedford Star Kids have enjoyed a barn party with horseback riding, indoor ice skating, and jumping for joy at Funz Trampoline Park. During the pandemic, New Bedford Star Kids got creative and hosted a very entertaining Zoom Bingo holiday party! This year, students and sponsors alike came together at our offices in New Bedford Groundwork and participated in an epic gingerbread house decorating contest. In addition, festivities included face painting, pizza, treats, prizes, and a special visit from Santa!
End of the School Year Party
To commemorate the end of each school year, New Bedford Star Kids hosts a fun-filled event at a venue in the greater New Bedford area. Past events have included bowling and roller skating. This year we hosted our annual event at Caddy Shack in North Dartmouth. Star Kids enjoyed mini-golf, bumper boat rides, lunch and prizes.
